Conversations on Compassion

Compassionate people are our kind of people and here at Animal Aid we want to empower everyone to make this world a kinder place for animals. So, each episode we invite you to join the Animal Aid team in delving into a thought provoking discussion with our guests – from celebrities, to scientists, to animal rescuers – on what living kindly means to them. We also discuss the latest positive news in the animal rights movement, answer your burning questions and have (maybe too many) conversations on the latest vegan junk food. We hope you enjoy listening to what is basically four friends gushing over cute animals and vegan burgers for an hour every fortnight, whilst also tackling some challenging topics in a positive way.

Aaron Calder

Aaron is a Fundraising Officer at Animal Aid and has been a member since he was 11. After going vegetarian at the same age and contacting Animal Aid, they supported his journey and he ended up working for them 30 years later. After watching a couple of documentaries on veganism in 2016 he went vegan as he couldn't be a part of animals suffering. It was going vegan that started his food blogging hobby, and he now has a popular website where he creates recipes. He loves working to help stop animals suffering and is looking forward to his podcast journey.
